Carrick (40 minutes from Mole Creek)
Home to some wonderful old buildings as well as Marik's Copper Art Gallery, a veritable treasure trove of sculptures and craft. You can make a round trip from Mole Creek via Carrick to Liffey Falls, returning via Deloraine.
Carrick is also home to Agfest, a huge annual 3 day event featuring hundreds of displays, exhibits and stalls, including sensational food in a variety of delicious forms. Starts on the first Thursday in May each year.

Hadspen (45 minutes from Mole Creek)

Meander (20 minutes from Mole Creek)
A tiny hamlet nestled at the foot of the Great Western Tiers. Nearby is the recently completed Meander Dam and picnic area and the Meander Forest Reserve with its range of great walks.
